On the Spot Drawings

I admit it: I am a bit scared of going out and drawing from life. I need a perfect position, a perfect pen, I need to sit down and people peering over my shoulder make me nervous. Also, the empty sheet usually scared me too. Since I started participating in my teacher's life drawing class on Thursday mornings, I feel better and better about it. Yes, the key is to overcome the fear by doing it over and over again, and I think I might slowly get to the spot where drawing on the spot doesn't scare me anymore...at least not that much. Here are a couple of examples of the work I did over the last week...
